11, 20, 30 or 40# LP Gas Cylinder -
The 30 # LP Gas Cylinder is the most Popular. However, these LP Cylinders are also available in 11#, 20#, 30# or 40# Sizes
11, 20, 30 and 40# LP Gas cylinders all have the new Overfill Protection Device (OPD valve). This helps keep them from being overfilled. As of April 1, 2002 only tanks with an OPD valve can be refilled. If you have a tank with a non OPD valve, you must replace it before it can be legally refilled. Thus, even if you have LP in your current tank, you should consider buying an new tank so that you can have it readily available when you need more LP Gas. These Cylinders are made of steel and are powder coated to resist corrosion.
These tanks are triple tested with dry pneumatic air and are manufactured in accordance with DOT 4BA, DOT 4BW and 4E specifications.

It is important to understand the new safety features and how they work together to afford maximum protection and convenience. The new Type I, ACME connection and its ability to shut off the gas flow in a fire situation is one improvement. Cylinders and tanks with the OPD valve to help prevent over filling is another improvement. You will love the safety and convenience that these products bring to your RVing experience. However, please note that any installations and work on your LPG Gas system should always be performed by someone knowledgeable and qualified to do such work.
