and Safety Valve Controller
LP Gas Detector from CCI Controls - Alarm and Controller for Separate Safety Valve.
This CCI Control Electronic LP Gas Detector is a full service totally automatic device. When a gas leak is detected in the RV, it sounds an alarm and shuts off the gas supply by controlling a UL listed LP gas valve. It draws 0.162mA per hour of power which is less than on instrument panel lamp. This alarm and controller can be used with the LP Gas Control Valve (Product # 66-8655) to provide an outstanding LP gas safety system. Please note that LP Gas Valve is sold as a separate part. Operates on 12v DC
Propane Safety
Many changes have taken place in RV Propane connections over the last five years. It is important to understand the new safety features and how they work together to afford maximum protection and convenience. The new Type I, ACME connection and its ability to shut off the flow in a fire situation is one of those improvements. Cylinders and tanks with the OPD valve to help prevent over filling is another improvement. You will love the safety and convenience these products bring to your RVing experience. However, please note that any installations and work on your Propane system should always be performed by someone knowledgeable and qualified to do such work.
