LP Gas Detection Kit - Pre-Tell 2
This LP Gas Detection Kit includes a valve control electronic LP gas detector which sounds a warning signal when LP gas is detected and automatically shuts off the gas supply coming into the RV. The Pre-tell 2 retrofit kit includes:
- Electronic LP Gas Detector/Alarm with Valve Controller
- LP Gas Valve
- 20 feet of 18 gauge wire
- Installation Hardware for mounting Flush
- Installation and Operating Instructions
- Operates on 12v DC
This detection kit provides the ultimate LP gas safety system with the combination of the detector, alarm and shutoff valve.

LP Gas Safety
Many changes have taken place in RV Propane connections over the last five years. It is important to understand the new safety features and how they work together to afford maximum protection and convenience. The new Type I, ACME connection and its ability to shut off the flow in a fire situation is one of those improvements. Cylinders and tanks with the OPD valve to help prevent over filling is another improvement. You will love the safety and convenience these products bring to your RVing experience. However, please note that any installations and work on your Propane system should always be performed by someone knowledgeable and qualified to do such work.
