LP Gas Valve - Safety Shutoff
Valve from CCI Controls
CCI Detectors are No Longer Available LP Gas Valve from CCI Controls for CCI Propane Detectors
This gas valve only to be used as a replacement to be used with a CCI Control Electronic LP Gas Detector (Pre-Tell 2), which is no longer available. This LP Gas Valve will NOT WORK with other brand detectors. This valve is powered by a 9v DC feed from the alarm while other brand detectors may have a 12v DC feed. Overpowering the valve can create a very dangerous condition.Propane Safety
Many changes have taken place in RV Propane connections over the last five years. It is important to understand the new safety features and how they work together to afford maximum protection and convenience. The new Type I, ACME connection and its ability to shut off the flow in a fire situation is one of those improvements. Cylinders and tanks with the OPD valve to help prevent over filling is another improvement. You will love the safety and convenience these products bring to your RVing experience. However, please note that any installations and work on your Propane system should always be performed by someone knowledgeable and qualified to do such work.
