Horizontal RV Propane Tanks in 5.5, 7.9, 9.8 and 11.2 Gallon Sizes.

These RV Horizontal Propane Tanks are armor-clad with a porcelain like finish using a gray powder coating for maximum corrosion protection. Manchester Tank quality construction is built into each and every tank.

Other features include:

  • Automatic Stop/Fills
  • All internal valve protection
  • Brackets with various mounting capabilities
  • 1 3/4 Acme fill, relief, service and outage valves

Tanks for motorhomes with side-door access have the fittings on the side. Other vehicles such as vans with no side door can use tanks with the fittings located on the lower quadrant of the tank as illustrated above.

LP Gas and Safety

It is important to understand the new safety features and how they work together to afford maximum protection and convenience.  The new Type I, ACME connection and its ability to shut off the gas flow in a fire situation is one improvement. Cylinders and tanks with the OPD valve to help prevent over filling is another improvement. You will enjoy the safety that these new products bring to your traveling experience.  Any installations and work on your Propane tanks and systems, however,  should always be performed by only those knowledgeable and qualified to do such work.
