Carefree Eclipse Power Awning Arms
The Carefree Eclipse is the only adjustable 12V power awning available!
Just push and hold the button to extend the Eclipse to partial or full 8' extension in seconds. As the billow-proof worm-gear motor unrolls the canopy, the rafter arms glide up the vertical track on the side of the coach to deploy a stable, truss-like, overhead support.
Push and hold the button to retract and the Eclipse will roll up tight against the coach. That's it! There's nothing to lock or latch. Carefree's exclusive worm-gear drive motor locks the roller for travel and provides the greatest assurance of absolute protection against billowingFor the best protection against rain, adjust one or both arms to their lowest setting. Choose from six quick adjustments per arm to get the perfect pitch for shade. Simply push and hold the button to retract the Eclipse from any pitch setting: there's no need to level the awning before you roll it up, the Eclipse self-levels!
Upgrade With Existing Roller Assembly: Use your existing Carefree or A&E roller tubes with these Eclipse power arms to save money or order a new roller and fabric for a complete new awning.Select Hardwired or Battery Operated
- The 12v Hardwired Eclipse Arm Set must be wired into a 12v source inside the RV. Two switches are included, one exterior and one interior. Select this model if you want Direct Response or WindSmart and Remote Operation.
- The 12v Battery Operated Arm
Set requires NO WIRING. A rechargeable battery is located inside the front arm and the switch is on the base of the front arm. The battery is manually recharged by use of a charger with a 25' cord that plugs into the 12v receptacle on the dashboard. The battery operated arm set DOES NOT accept the Direct Response, WindSmart, or Wireless Remote options.Optional Electronics
Direct Response Electronics: This includes a motion detection system with easy-to-use controls. This system detects canopy motion and automatically retracts the awning when a certain level of movement is reached. You determine the sensitivity level on the control panel. (Special Order Item) WindSmart: Carefree's Automatic Wind Sensor retracts your awning when the wind reaches the level that you select. Three levels of sensitivity are available to give you peace of mind when you are away from your RV. Wireless Remote Control: This handy option allows you to operate your awning from anywhere around your campsite. It only works with either the Direct Response or WindSmart options.
