The Power SideVisors are, like the Power SmartVisor for large windshields, housed in a painted black aluminum case. The 30" SideVisor has a 34" drop and larger ones all have a 36" drop. The top 18" is 100% opaque fabric and and the bottom 18" is 100% visibility solar screen. Wiring and switch mechanism are included, with a two year warranty on parts, labor and freight.
Power Visors may be ordered with the motor on either end to minimize wire routing problems connecting to a 12 volt power source. Eliminate the switch wiring with a Wireless Remote.
PowerVisor Wireless Remote (Sold Separately)
Avoid the hassles of complex and time consuming switch wire routing with new PowerVisor Wireless Remote. This unit can operate two visors (Power SmartVisor and/or Power SideVisor) and has an effective range of 20' giving convenient access from anywhere in the cab.
Mounting Considerations
The Power SideVisor requires an unobstructed mounting space 2" high, 3" deep and 1" wider than the specified size. The total width specified is the width of the case. The actual fabric will be 2" narrower. For example, a 40" visor requires 41" of flat, unobstructed space, and the shade fabric will be 38" wide. While the motor is not visible, it is best to specify the end (right or left) which will best facilitate wiring the unit to 12 volt power.
