Battery Disconnect Switch
A battery disconnect switch provides a simple yet effective way to prevent battery drain when your are not using your RV. The battery disconnect knife switches completely disconnect the battery, preventing unwanted drain when the RV or boat are put into storage.
This switch is recommended to mount on the negative battery post, which makes it easy to reach and operate. It has a 5/8" diam. post, plus 5/16-18 threaded stud and wing nut for accommodation of a variety of versatile wire leads and extra connections. Carries 250 amps continuous and a maximum surge of 750 amps. 3" wide x 4" long x 2-1/4" high
Part # 55-9025 Same as switch above except that there is no wing-nut post. Part # 55-9029 This Battery Disconnect is an "IN-LINE" Switch and may be mounted in a remote location, away from the battery and convenient for the user. Mount this unit in a well ventilated area. For concealed installations, where battery box space is limited, or in space restricted areas. Great for tricky space problems, theft deterrence, and convenience! Attach switch to location near operator, inside fender wall, fire wall, or other remote area to deter theft and stop battery drain. Attach a cable from your battery to this unit and connect another cable from this unit to the starter or other power loads. One side connects to the battery cable; other side connects to the vehicle cable. Applications include: Agricultural Switch; Tractor Battery Switch; Battery Disconnect Switch for Stored Vehicles; Battery Cut-Offs for Recreational Vehicles. Both terminals are 5/16" bolts for receiving eyelet cable connectors. Carries 250 amps continuous and a maximum surge of 750 amps. 3" wide x 4" long x 2" high. Mounting hole is 1/4" diameter. This Battery Disconnect is designed for use on side terminal batteries on cars and trucks. It's a side mount and opens down. Mounts on negative side battery terminal. Provides 3/8-16 bolt for receiving standard eyelet cable connector. Carries 250 amps continuous and a maximum surge of 750 amps. 3-1/4" wide x 3-3/4" long x 1-1/4" high.
