5th Wheel Air Hitch by Fifth Airborne

The 5th Wheel Air Hitch by 5th Airborne is the next generation premium fifth wheel pin box! It acts as a buffer between the tow vehicle and the trailer, minimizing the negative impact of vertical shock and longitudinal chucking. Installing one of these air-ride couplers improves ride and relieves road stress on trailer's frame, cabinets, mechanicals and electronics. Reduced vibrations saves furniture, TVs, computers, dishes, glassware and other fragile items. Drivers and passengers benefit from reduced road fatigue. The unique streamlined design is engineered with a 21,000 lb. rating. Allows tuning of the air spring to optimize the performance of each truck and trailer combination. No assembly required and easy to install using existing holes and hardware. Available to fit all popular pin boxes.

The 5th Airborne premium fifth-wheel air-ride coupler was engineered and developed by long-time veterans of the towing industry. They put the product through grueling tests to measure its performance against the top two competing premium couplers on the market. The 5th Airborne coupler, with its innovative forward pivot design, out-performed both leading competitors. Test measurements were recorded in both the vertical (air-ride softening) direction and the longitudinal (anti-chucking) direction. 5th Airborne performed significantly better in both orientations.
