Combination 7 & 4-way Trailer Connector
Introducing a new convenient combination 7-way socket and 4-way flat socket that eliminates the need for an adapter! Very easy to install with a snap fit assembly for most late model trucks and sport utility vehicles. Plugs directly into the existing vehicle harness system. The socket features a high-impact nylon shell, stainless steel spring and rubber gasket to guarantee against moisture intrusion when closed. Total electrical load of the 7-way not to exceed 50.A at 14V. Total electrical load of 4-way not to exceed 20A at 14V. 7-Way & 4-Way NOT to be used simultaneously. Mounting bracket is sold separately.
If your vehicle with a towing package has a connector like the one shown on the left end of the adapter shown below, it will simply plug into this connector. Some Chrysler products will have a rectangular connector, and you will need to purchase the adapter. If you just need a plug from your vehicle, the other harness shown can be purchased and hard-wired into your vehicle's electrical system.
