Introducing the new Hayes G2 trailer brake controller with an audible signal alert for connection continuity — a market-exclusive feature that makes for safer braking. The easy-to-find, easy-to-use manual emergency braking control lets you apply full power in emergency stopping situations. The three-axis accelerometer technology automatically levels and senses the rate of deceleration. The G2’s large, high-resolution diagnostic liquid crystal panel is recessed to eliminate glare. This easy-to-read digital display indicates the amount of power being sent to the trailer brakes and allows adjustment in three modes (percent of power, voltage, and current). This advanced controller has a “power boost feature” which gives you the ability to apply more initial braking power when towing heavier trailers. The G2 – with its sleek, low-profile design – comes with the new Hayes Universal Quik-Receiver mounting sleeve to make installation a snap. For 2, 4, 6, and 8 electric brakes. Limited lifetime warranty.

Qwik-Connect Feature:
Most late models vehicles that come with a Towing Package have a connector under the dash for connecting a brake controller. Dual-mated harnesses are available (sold separately) which have a Hayes 'Qwik-Connect' connector on one end and the specific vehicle connector on the other. This allows for ease of wiring installation when connecting to any Hayes brake controller. It is necessary to purchase a Qwik-Connect Harness (either vehicle specific or universal) with one of the Hayes Brake Controllers. Click here for Qwik-Connect harness selection for specific vehicles.
NOTE: 2010 Chevy/GMC vehicles no longer come with under-dash plug-ins for brake controllers - use the supplied harness. 2010 Dodge vehicles have a new plug - call for availability of the new Qwik-Connect harness.
