The Hijacker Autoslide 5th wheel hitch is the latest innovation for towing with short bed trucks. No need to get out and manually slide a hitch back in order to safely make sharp turns. That's easy to forget or underestimate the sharpness of the turn. The turning action of the truck automatically slides the hitch back so that the nose of the trailer doesn't hit the cab. And the most unique feature of this hitch is that it doesn't need a Capture Plate!! (When used with standard pin box.) Adapter plates are available for MorRyde and 5th Airborne pin boxes. The Autoslide 'Under Bed Mount' option leaves the truck bed free when the hitch is removed and requires frame mounting brackets for your truck from the 'UMS Series' column of the Bracket Fit List.

The 'Above Bed Mount' hitch comes with bed rails and uses frame mounting brackets selected from the 'Ultra Series' column of the Bracket Fit List.

  • Double Pivot Head with 3/4″ solid steel, positive locking slide bar makes hooking up and disconnecting safe and easy!
  • No Capture Plate required to activate slide mechanism
  • Up to 14″ of Travel to help get into and out of those tight spots!

  • Short Box Application (for use with 6'6" beds)
  • Automatically Slides utilizing rack and pinion gear technology
  • Three Vertical height adustments to help you level the truck and trailer
