Trailer Cable W/7-Way Connector, Replaceable - 8ft Cord

Pre-assembled wiring with 7-way RV trailer connections. The trailer end (shown at left) features a cable length of 8' comprised of 10 gauge black and white copper wire, 12 gauge blue and 14 gauge red, green, yellow, and brown. Part #55-8510 has a removable (replaceable) connector. Part #55-8587 has the connector permanently molded to the cable.

Wiring for the car end comes with 4' cable (part #55-8533) or 7' cable (part #55-8678). The connectors are permanently molded to the cable. Metal mounting bracket (part #55-8504) is not included and sold separately.

These connectors use the following color code and recommended wire size:

White	Ground	10 gauge
Blue	Trailer Brakes	12 gauge
Green	Tail, Licence and Running Lights	14 gauge
Black	Trailer Battery Charge	10 gauge
Red	Stop and Left Turn Signal	14 gauge
Brown	Stop and Right Turn Signal	14 gauge
Yellow	Auxiliary, usually Back-up Lights	14 gauge
