Electric or Manual RV Landing Gear
Atwood electric trailer jacks are very popular with today's RVers. They are made of heavy-wall 2 1/2" square tube construction with precision roll-threaded screws and 5 1/2" diameter foot pads. They come in heavy duty (6000 lbs) which require one motor for power jacking, and super duty (8000 lbs) which require two motors. They can handle load ratings for a variety of fifth wheels. The double tube extension allows the inner tube to be dropped to the ground and pinned in 1" increments before final cranking to the final desired height. Atwood fifth Wheel Landing Gear also provides 36" of adjustment.
Electric Jacks - Conversion from Manual 5th Wheel Trailer Jacks
The 6000# units can be converted to electric by adding a 12 volt power head and switch. The Conversion kit below includes mounting hardware, wire, switch and instructions. The 8000# unit requires two power head kits.
Easy to Use
Atwood fifth Wheel Landing Gear can be supplied with an optional pull-pin. Simply pull on the pull-pin’s loop and the drop-tube and foot fall to the ground. Then as you begin operating the jacks, the pull-pin positions itself in the next set of drop-tube holes.
