RV Water Heater Bypass Kit
An RV Water Heater bypass kit can help you Winterize your RV. You save the cost of the amount of anti-freeze it would take to fill your water heater each season. This permanent kit allows you to bypass or activate your water heater all year with no disconnections. Lasts the life of your motorhome, travel trailer or other RV. Easy to install. The brass valves allow free flow and long life. Choose 8" or 12" length.
How to Winterize Using the Blow Dry Method
Items Needed:

Hand Pump
Blow Out Plug1. Empty and thoroughly rinse the waste holding tank.
2. Drain all water lines. Be sure to drain toilet and all faucets. If a water purifier or filter is in-line, remove the cartridge. Close all faucets.
3. Blow lines dry by inserting the blow out plug into the city water fill and pumping air, utilizing the hand pump, into the water system to building-up pressure. Then open one faucet at a time letting any extra water escape.
4. Drain water heater and then by-pass water heater to connect cold and hot water lines. Use a by-pass kit for this process.
5. Pour non-toxic antifreeze into water tank. Build up pressure again or activate water pump and open faucets one at a time to be sure the antifreeze gets up into each faucet. Flush toilet until antifreeze flushes into the bowl.
6. Pour approximately 1 cup of antifreeze into each sink trap, including shower drain.
