Dicor's EPDM Rubber Roof Coating Systems

Dicor's EPDM Roof Cleaner/Activator is the first part of a two-part, commercial grade system that provides an excellent protective barrier for extending the life of EPDM. Part 2 may be either Acrylic Coating, CoolCoat Insulating Coating, or Signature Extended Life Coating. Saves over 25% in labor compared to similar systems. Quick drying time.

The Cleaner/Activator cleans and prepares EPDM roofing for maximum adhesion of the Part 2 coating. Spray on and rinse off thoroughly. Coverage rate is 125 sq. ft. per quart. Biodegradable and contains no harmful petroleum distillates, harsh abrasives or citric ingredients that can cause irreparable harm.

EPDM CLEANER/ACTIVATOR is a ready-to-use material. It can be applied using a Hudson-type agricultural sprayer or other means to just leave roof damp. Allow the EPDM CLEANER/ACTIVATOR to stand a minimum of 15 minutes to wet out and react with the EPDM surface. Rinse with clean water. If available, a pressure washer is best to rinse the roof, but a medium bristle brush may be used to scrub small areas at a time, rinsing thoroughly to be sure all cleaner/activator has been removed. After cleaning, the roof should be white? in color, which is an indication that the surface has been chemically altered.

NOTE: The entire project must be completed in one day; including cleaner/activator application, rinsing and 2 coats of the selected Part 2 coating, each dry to the touch.
