The Demco Aluminator Tow Bar is Lightweight but strong. This Demco tow bar has been tested and proven reliable. It weighs only 25 Ibs. The ALUMINATOR is built primarily of marine and aircraft grade aluminum alloy, but steel is used in critical areas to minimize wear. Overall length of leg 36". Size, folded for storage: 5" x 10" x 25". Includes coiled safety cables and a 'silent hitch pin'.
* Baseplates: A tow bar attaches to the towed vehicle by means of a 'base plate' or 'bracket' system which provides a strong and secure attachment directly to the frame of the towed vehicle. Click here for more information and ordering Demco BasePlates.
Please Note:
- The Tow Bar and Base Plate are sold separately
even though you need both items for a complete installation.- Not all vehicles can be towed with all 4 wheels on the ground without modifications. Ascertain from your manufacturer as to the towability of your vehicle.
Lock your tow bar!!
Protect your investment with locking hitch pins and base plate locks. If you stop for lunch and don't take the keys out of your towed vehicle, it's not a great feat for someone to steal it and/or your valuable tow bar. The 3-lock set is keyed alike. Click here.
