Unified Tow Brake from US Gear is installed only once and is invisible in the towed vehicle. Unified Tow Brake, compared to other braking systems, doesn't require removal and re-installation each time you want to drive or tow.
Why The Unified Tow Brake?
The Unified Tow Brake is like no other on the market today. A 12 volt vacuum pump mounts in the engine compartment of the towed vehicle, thereby using the power brakes of both vehicles (the RV and The towed vehicle). This exclusive, patented feature sets US gear leagues apart from other available braking products. If your engine suddenly dies, the US gear product is able to maintain vacuum and still use the power brakes of the towed vehicle.
NEW: Unified Tow Brakes for towed vehicles with Electric Hydro-Boost brake systems are now available. See table below.

Note: Use of the TV-1000K and TVH-1000K kits with a factory pre-wired coach will require an additional 6-wire umbilical cord and a 7-pin to 6-pin adapter that is NOT supplied by U.S. Gear. These items are necessary to utilize the factory 7-pin connector on rear of coach.
New Optional Power Module
Upgrade your existing Unified Tow Brake installation, or purchase a new kit with this new optional Power Module. This upgrade provides an audio and visual alarm if the towed vehicles' brakes are applied without activation from the towing vehicle, which can cause extensive brake damage. This condition has been caused by unforeseen interference with the actuating cable in the towed vehicle. Protect your investment with this relatively inexpensive upgrade.
