Travel Trailer Hot Water Heaters
Suburban produces some of the best and well known travel trailer water heaters on the market. Improvements on latest models for longevity and use include foam insulation, and a solidly built steel tank. There are several Suburban models to choose from including the SW6PE which features a pilot ignition and 110v Electric element. These travel trailer water heaters are high-recovery 12,000 BTU/hour units with an easy to access anode rod for fast replacement and improved reduction of corrosion. An extra option added for those who purchase the Pilot ignition and Direct spark models include an extra optional electric element for even faster recovery of an additional 6 gallons per hour at the campsite.
Water Heater Products such as these produced by Suburban offer a regulated safety thermostat. These Travel trailer hot water heaters have been created for simple installation, operation and maintenance. Available models include 6 and 10 gallons with the added option of having a surface mount door or a flush mount door (Door Sold Separately). All 10-gallon models will require a flush mount door to be purchased.
Both the SW6PE and SW6P are similar in appearance. The SW6PE operates on either propane or 110 volt electricity. The 10 gallon SW10P model operates with LP gas as well as electricity with a pilot. Cut-out dimensions are: 6 Gallon; 12-3/4" high, 12-3/4" wide, 19-3/4" deep. 10 Gallon; 16-3/8" high, 16-3/8" wide, 20-3/4" deep.
An added plus of these units is that they come with a manufacturers three year limited warranty on the tank, and a two year limited warranty on the water heater components.
