Shipping Information

Scope: PPL ships only to the contiguous 48 United States plus Alaska and Hawaii (additional charges may apply)

General

Business days for order processing are from 8am to 5pm (Central time) Monday - Friday. Orders for in-stock items which are received before noon (freight items) or 1pm (ground/expedited shipping) central time are shipped no later than the following business day. Orders for items that are out of stock or not in our warehouse will be shipped as soon as possible. If the item will not be available for shipment within four business days, or if expedited shipping is requested, the customer will be notified by email or phone of the estimated ship date.

UPS/FedEx

 Delivery times are counted in business days from the day after the item is shipped. For example, if an order with the '2nd day air' option is shipped on Tuesday it should be delivered on Thursday. If it is shipped on Friday, delivery can be expected by Tuesday of the following week.

Freight Shipment

Some items are shipped by truck freight because of weight or size. Freight Companies classify 'Residential Delivery' and 'Commercial Delivery' differently. Commercial Delivery refers to an established business in a commercial zone. A 'Commercial Business' in a home in a residential area is considered 'Residential'. If the delivery option is misclassified, we may bill you for additional charges.  NOTE: Freight Companies are charging significantly higher delivery charges to some areas, such as remote or mountainous areas, plus Alaska and Hawaii. Please call us at 1-800-755-4775 for a shipping quote if you are in such areas. We will notify you of any additional delivery charges before shipping your order, and you may approve the charge or cancel your order.

Receiving Truck Freight Shipments

We want to make sure you receive your parts in good condition. Do not sign for anything until you have inspected your shipment. If you don't inspect it, and open the unit later and find 'hidden damage', there is no recourse for a truck freight claim. All claims for damage MUST be made at the time of receipt of the unit!  Note any damage on the bill of lading before signing off--it's a relatively easy process to get a new unit or replacement parts if you do so. If an item is obviously damaged, simply  refuse the shipment and the item will be returned to us. We can then promptly reship the item, however that is no longer an option once you have accepted the shipment.
