Need wireless internet access in your RV? The Autonet Mobile Internet router will turn your RV into a Wi-Fi hotspot, allowing multiple passengers to connect their own Wi-Fi enabled gadgets to the Internet at the same time. Whether parked or rolling down the road, you can connect to the Internet when you want, wherever you are. The Autonet Mobile Internet Router is designed to keep you and your family from losing connection to our 3G network even when you are traveling between cell towers, through tunnels, and in areas of poor signal. The router's sleek form is designed to be easily installed in a cabinet or compartment so that it's out of your way.
Now comes the next generation of in-car wireless router. The CarFiTM is smaller, sleeker and sits on a docking station, making it easy to transfer from the RV to the work car to the family car (with an additional docking station, sold separately). It has a compact flash slot and 2 USB ports to expand the onboard memory. You can use CarFi as a server to store files so every passenger in the vehicle can access the same files, whether it be games, music, movies, or spreadsheets. The CarFi comes with a docking station. Additional docking stations may be purchased for additional vehicles.
Have you ever been driving your RV in unfamiliar areas and heard reports of bad weather on the radio and not know where the station is?? Frustrating, isn't it? Or seen dark clouds up ahead and wonder what you are getting into? With the Autonet Mobile Internet System and Mobile Internet Service you can simply log on and check any of the many on-line weather sites.
With its patent-pending TRU Technology, Autonet Mobile's high-speed monthly service allows for uninterrupted connectivity while the vehicle is in motion. The router runs over both 3G and 2.5G cellular data networks to give you the fastest and most expansive coverage in both the US and Canada. See Autonet Mobile's RV Internet Coverage Map. For more information, please see the FAQ (frequently asked questions) at Autonet RV Internet & RV Wi-Fi FAQ page.
Autonet Mobile has two monthly data plans to accommodate your needs. The $29 monthly plan includes 1GB of data per month and the $59 monthly plan includes 5GB of data per month (There is a one-time set-up fee of $35). See the chart below to find out what plan you need.
If you have any questions about your RV internet service, router, or billing, one of Autonet's friendly associates will be happy to troubleshoot for you over the phone.

| External Antennas Available For optimum internet reception, a choice of external antenna's are available. Choose from a magnet-mount or a glass/windshield mount. This choice affixes an internal sensor to the inside of the glass, and the antenna mast to the outside of the glass, therefore no penetration of the glass or hull. Order below. |
PPL's Product Review: We have used this system for some months now in an RV travelling under varying conditions. The most interesting usage happened while driving on an Interstate highway in a 'driving' rainstorm (no pun intended). We were able to fire up the laptop and connect to a weather radar site to see how extensive this storm was along our intended path. And it's been very helpful to consult the internet for maps, points of interest, campgrounds, restaurants, and gas stops along the way. We found that campgrounds that offer WiFi sometimes do not have the coverage to include all of their campsites and it was necessary to go to the office or rec hall to get a signal. Since usage is based on the wireless phone network, coverage can sometimes be spotty to non-existant. We have configured our unit with a cigarette lighter plug, rather than hard wire it in, so as to have portability. It typically rides on the dashboard of the RV, but when we are parked in an area of little or no coverage, we can take the Autonet with us in our towed vehicle and go to an area with adequate coverage. When not on the road and operating from home, the Autonet can be used in any vehicle. Overall we find this unit a very handy item to have along to enjoy internet access from the convenience of your own vehicle.
