RV Classified Advertising Internet Listings PPL's Consignments Consignment with Regular Dealer Displaying with For Sale Sign Customer Comments Local newspaper advertising is what many people think of first. Whether you are selling golf clubs, a boat or a motorhome, many sellers think of the newspaper ads in their local newspapers first. Results of this kind of advertising can vary greatly. Newspaper ads can be expensive and results are not guaranteed. Ads are the favorite of bargain hunter buyers looking for vehicles that are being sold for below market prices.

RV Classifieds may well work. However, at PPL selling your Vehicle is not a side line. It is what we have been doing since 1972 and we have grown to be the Largest RV Consignment Dealer in the USA selling over 21,300 RVs. We do not sell any new ones as this could distract us from getting your vehicle sold. View this short PPL Video or learn more about PPL's unique Consignment Program.
Local Dealer ConsignmentLocal Recreational Vehicle dealers may offer a consignment program that will place your vehicle on their lot for sale. If you decide to consign your unit with a local lot take time to visit to see exactly how your vehicle will be displayed. Your vehicle may be in direct competition with the "new" and "used" units owned the dealer making it likely that yours will not be the first to be sold. A consignment center selling only consigned RVs with a successful track record is preferred. A lot that handles automobiles, trucks, boats and recreational vehicles, may be less likely to have the buyers or the knowledge it takes to get the best price for you.
For Sale SignThe easiest and least expensive way to advertise is to find a busy parking lot or roadside, place a "For Sale" sign on the vehicle with your phone number. You may get a serious buyer this way, but you are sure to attract curiosity seekers who may not even be interested in making a Recreational Vehicle purchase.
Internet Advertising ListingsInternet listings reach 1000's of potential buyers nationwide and you will get some inquiries this way. Most of these buyers; however, will not travel across the country to look at your one vehicle which means that it may take you much longer to actually sell your vehicle.
More and more of the ads on popular sites are by dealers advertising units they own rather than individuals. We believe that the problem of getting potential buyers to travel a long way to look at one vehicle and thus the lack of results is the primary reason for this trend.

Customer Reviews & Comments
- Include important information such as size, year, brand, price and mileage.
- "fluff" words such as cream puff, spotless and immaculate cost you money and don't really work.
- Include only your telephone number or e-mail address. You don't want a potential buyer just showing up.
We were very pleased. If we ever buy or sell again you'll be the first place we'll go!
