This RV is not equipped with the traditional, stand alone, self powered generator. This RV is equipped with an Eco Trek (E-trek) option. Electrical power is provided by 8 AGM (absorbent glass mat) deep cycle batteries. These are kept charged by a roof mounted solar panel AND a seperate, belt driven generator on the diesel engine (NOT the alternator). If electrical use exceeds what the solar panel can keep up with and starts to draw the battery power down, start the engine and run it for an hour until the belt driven generator has re-charged the batteries.
